Are Aer Lingus seats bigger than Ryanair?

I have flown are lingus and Ryanair, I much prefered are lingus, there was more room, seats where much more comfortable and felt wider as well. Also as stated you have a seat number so avoiding mad scramble across the tarmac. Unless there is a huge price difference I would take aer lingus.
