Unlike many luxury cruise lines, alcoholic drinks are not free on Disney Cruise Line (DCL) in 2026. While the cruise fare includes almost all food, soft drinks (at the self-service stations and in the dining rooms), and entertainment, beer, wine, and cocktails will be charged to your "Key to the World" stateroom account. Specialty coffees from Cove Café and smoothies are also extra-cost items. To help manage costs, DCL offers several pre-paid beverage packages, such as the "Beer Mug" promotion (where you pay for a souvenir mug and get refills at a lower price) or wine packages for dinner service. Interestingly, Disney is one of the few cruise lines that allows guests aged 21 and older to bring their own alcohol on board: you may carry on two unopened bottles of wine or champagne (no larger than 750ml) or six beers (12oz) at the beginning of the cruise and at each port of call. These must be packed in your carry-on luggage, not your checked bags. If you choose to drink your own wine in the dining room, a $27 corkage fee per bottle will be applied, though drinking it in your stateroom is free.
