Are Disney Magic Keys Limited?

Disneyland Resort Magic Key passes are a limited license to enter the Disneyland Resort theme parks. To enter a Disneyland Resort theme park, each Magic Key holder is required to have both a theme park reservation and Magic Key pass valid for admission to the same park on the same date they plan to visit.

The federal lawsuit filed in California alleged that some of Disneyland's “Magic Key” annual pass-holders were unable to make park reservations on certain days in 2021, despite being promised “no blockout dates” for entry at the Anaheim, California parks.

Sales resumed again in January and April of 2023, but now the situation has CHANGED. As of April 14th, only the Inspire Key was available for new purchases and all other Magic Keys were available for renewal. But now it seems ALL Magic Key passes are unavailable for new purchases.
