Are Disney World shuttles free?

Our complimentary network of buses, boats and monorails can transport you between Disney Resort hotels, theme parks, water parks and shopping venues.

Yes, all internal transportation within the Walt Disney World Resort is complimentary for all guests, regardless of whether you are staying at a Disney hotel or just visiting for the day. This includes the extensive bus network, the world-famous Monorail, the Disney Skyliner gondolas, and various water taxis and ferries. These services connect the four theme parks, two water parks, Disney Springs, and all resort hotels. However, it is important to note that the "Disney's Magical Express" airport shuttle was discontinued several years ago. In 2026, there is no free shuttle from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to your hotel; you must pay for a third-party shuttle like Mears Connect, or use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Once you are on Disney property, you can rely entirely on the free transport system, which typically begins running 45 minutes before park opening and continues until one hour after park closing.
