The roller coasters may run a tad faster due to oils as someone mentioned, but it is mostly perception in the dark. That is why the 35 mph Space Mountain feels so much faster than Thunder mountain.
If you want to make sure you can get everything in but only have a short time to do it, these events are absolutely worth the price of admission in place of a full-day ticket. We feel that Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom allows you to get the best bang for your buck attractions-wise with an After Hours ticket.
Weekdays are less crowded than weekends, especially Monday-Thursdays. On weekends, Sundays are usually less crowded than Saturdays. Regular weekends tend to be less crowded than holiday weekends.
People with high blood pressure and/or heart conditions are warned not to ride roller coasters because of the way they tax the cardiovascular system. The adrenaline rush that roller coasters give you causes a rapid spike in your heart rate and blood pressure.
In a typical coaster design, the riders in the front car get an unobstructed view of all these obstacles whipping past them. In a coaster that has seats facing backward, the rear car offers the best of both worlds -- you get a great view and the most intense ride.
Greetings, Marni, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's great to have you hEAR! Currently, the Disneyland Resort doesn't offer discounted admission if you arrive after a certain time of day. Theme-park tickets are sold on a daily basis, from one day up to five days.
Believe it or not, as night falls at Magic Kingdom, the crowds start to dwindle. That's because families with young children take the opportunity to head home for bedtime and you're left with a surprisingly less crowded park. (You ever wonder where all the thousands of strollers go at night?)
In the morning, everyone is scrambling to get on rides, and lines tend to get long quickly. At night, everyone is tired of waiting in lines all day, so they're filtering out of the park, and lines can be a lot shorter (often much shorter than posted times).
Arrive Early For The New Extra Magic Half HourOne of the easiest ways to make sure you get the most out of your day no matter which Disney park you plan to visit is to arrive early and stay late when possible! This will also allow you to take an afternoon break at your hotel if need be.
Do Not wear material that you can see through when it gets wet. Find a bra where your ladies are not going to fall out when you're on the coasters, or just walking around for that matter.
The best seat on a coaster, then, is a matter of personal taste. If you love the feeling of weightlessness, head for the back.If you want the best view of the action, head for the front. The cars in the middle provide the weakest ride, but it's a good bet you'll still have a good time.
It's always a great time to visit Disney theme parks! However, when planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort, expect lower crowds from mid-September through mid-November (before the Thanksgiving break). Mid-January through mid-March is another time when potentially lower crowds are expected.

Typically, Disneyland Park's slowest month with fewer crowds is just after California's summer season, mid-September through the weeks just before Thanksgiving weekend.
