CANCELLATION/CHANGE POLICYGuests may cancel or modify an existing reservation online through their linked Disney account or by calling (714) 520-5045 (please note that some modifications cannot be made online). Notification of cancellation must be received at least 5 days prior to arrival date for a full refund.
According to the eTicket Terms and Conditions, theme park tickets are not refundable, however, if they expire before you can use them you can use the purchase price of the unused tickets towards the purchase of new tickets of equal or greater value.
For cancellations made 5 days to 29 days prior to Guest arrival, amounts paid (minus a cancellation fee of $200 per package and minus any cancellation fees assessed by third party hotels or other suppliers, non-refundable travel protection plan costs, and other amounts owed) will be refunded.
I'm happy to help! While you aren't able to extend the expiration of your ticket, not all is lost. Wholly unused and expired Disneyland tickets can be used towards the purchase of a new theme park ticket. The new ticket purchase must be equal to or greater than the value of the original expired ticket.
However, if you cancel 29 days to 2 days before your arrival date you will receive a full refund, minus a $200 penalty per room. This includes any theme park tickets you've purchased with your room and ticket package. If you wait to cancel until 1 day or less before your visit then the full package is not refundable.
As of April 18th 2023, Annual Passholders are now able to visit the Walt Disney World theme parks after 2PM WITHOUT a Park Pass reservation (with some exceptions). The exception applies to Annual Passholders wanting to visit Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays.
If the ticket has not yet been used, you can reassign a ticket to another person on your Family & Friends list. To do so, visit the My Reservations section of My Disney Experience, locate the ticket you wish to reassign and select the “Reassign Ticket” link to the right of the ticket.
However, canceling a reservation does not cancel your ticket. Tickets are non-refundable. This means you can go back into your Disney account and make a new theme park ticket reservation for your new date with that same ticket.
Unfortunately, as it's written in the Terms and Conditions, tickets may not be sold. A ticket for the Disneyland Resort cannot be used at Walt Disney World Resort as these resorts are separate from one another and require their own theme park admission.
The amount paid for an unused, expired ticket may be applied towards the purchase of a new ticket at the current price so long as the new ticket purchase price is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket. Unless otherwise stated, tickets are not valid for separately priced activities or events.
Depending on the situation, you may need to pay a cancelation fee. Canceling 30+ days out will not cost you, but canceling between 2-29 days ahead of your vacation will cost you $200.
