Are dogs allowed on trails in redwoods?

Pets are not allowed on any park trails or at ranger-led programs. Stop by one of our visitor centers to learn more about the rules of BARK! Dogs and their humans can discover a great walks through the redwoods, say the BARK! Ranger pledge, and stamp their certificate.

Pets are welcomed in select places throughout Yosemite, but it's important that owners follow the rules—to make the park safe for everyone, and to protect the wildlife. Pets on leashes 6-feet or shorter are allowed on paved bike paths and roads. Pets must be with their owners at all times.
