Are pools open year round in Disney?

You will often find us splashing around during a mid-day break, having an evening swim or even enjoying the attractions at the Disney Water Parks all year round. I am happy to let you know that all of the Disney Resort hotel pools are open year round.

Even though it may be too cold to swim in December where you live, at Disney World the pools are heated which means even if the air is a bit chilly, the pools are still a comfortable temperature. You are welcome to bring small swim floats, pool noodles, swim rings, or other similar pool toys for your little ones. The point to remember is that they do need to be small. The lifeguards at the Resort pools are very focused on safety and they do need to be able to see all the fins flipping around underwater.
