Are Ryanair seats smaller than Jet2?

Based on our experiences Jet2 do have more legroom, even if the seat pitch is the same or less. It's not noticeable to me because I'm only petite, but Mr LS is far from petite and he has a tiny bit of room between his knees and the seat on Jet2, whereas on Ryanair they're firmly wedged into the seat in front.
