Are strollers allowed at Universal Studios Hollywood?
Yes, we do. Strollers and wheelchairs are available for rent just inside the Park, across from the Universal Studios Store.

Universal Studios Hollywood does not have any restrictions on the type of stroller brought into the park. This includes wagons. Universal Studios Hollywood with toddlers: we use a Babyzen Yoyo and a GB Pockit but we did see a few Wonderfold and Keenz wagons in the park.
All visitors must pass through metal detection before experiencing the theme park. All bags, backpacks, purses and packages are subject to X-ray and/or additional inspection prior to entering the theme park. Coolers, suitcases and bags with wheels are prohibited.
If your children are too small or unwilling to go on a particular ride that you want to experience, you can use the “child switch” program. Each ride and attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood has a family room where one member of your party can wait with the little ones while the rest of your party rides.

If you want to just take your time and enjoy the parks at a slow pace, 2 days is absolutely perfect for that. off-season: 1 day for a back to back experience and early wakeup. 2 for a more relaxed pace without rope drop times. On-Season: 2-4 days, if you went at rope drop.
You could certainly spend multiple days there seeing all the theme park has to offer but 6-7 hours should cover the main sights and experiences to get through that you are interested in.
Rides at Universal Orlando for ToddlersThere are only a few rides for toddlers at both parks. At Islands of Adventure One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish allows toddlers who can walk on their own to ride with an adult. The same goes for the Caro-Suess-el, also located in Suess Landing.
Your 7 and 9 year old may need a break during a busy day. Basically, you have 2 choices: Don't bring your stroller and if your children get tired out you always have the option of renting a stroller inside the park from Disney.
If you're bringing your stroller when you're flying with baby, you'll need to gate check it. This seemed really complicated to me before I actually did it. But honestly, it's nothing. Depending on your airline, of course, your stroller simply needs to fold.
You can only bring in some snacks, they don't allow “outside food” but that really means “outside meals”. You can bring bags, and Universal has lockers (free for short periods of time) for your items when you ride the larger rides. Can you bring a reusable water bottle to Universal Studios? Yes!
