Are the beaches rocky in St. Lucia?

Anse des Chastanet and Anse des Cochon (Ti Kaye) beaches are sandy, just a dark gray sand (St. Lucia is volcanic by nature, so white sand is therefore not indiginous). I stayed in Rodney Bay last year. It has the largest bay with the nicest beach area (IMO) on the island and it is NOT rugged/rocky.
