There are actual, cool free things to do at Disneyland. Really! While there are some basics here like park maps and newspapers, this isn't a list meant to point out the obvious that you can get free water from a drinking fountain or “free” sunburn in Disneyland. These are mostly less-obvious freebies.
How to Find Free Cups of Water at Disney World. You can ask for a free cup of water at any quick-service and table-service restaurant. This is also a tip we use to save some money while dining at Disney. For all quick-service restaurants, you can ask for a cup of water even when you're not dining there.
While of course you would need to pay for shopping or dining, you can walk around the area with no admissions charge. There is also often entertainment happening for free outside. Disney Springs is along a lovely waterfront that you can take in and enjoy.
You must book tickets as part of your vacation package to qualify for Free Dining. In the past, Disney has required 2 and, most recently, a 4-day minimum ticket and a 4-night minimum stay at a Disney World resort. Every Free Dining promotion is a little different, so be sure to check the details before you book.
Whenever you're thirsty, stop by one of our many water fountains—located throughout the Resort, including outside of most restrooms. If you wish to use disposable cups at drinking fountains, feel free to request them from the nearest restaurant or snack shop at no extra charge.
