Are there bathrooms at Pearl Harbor Memorial?

Please keep in mind that there are NO public restrooms on the USS Arizona Memorial. We have restrooms located throughout the visitor center. You may also want to plan time to see our two museums and exhibits along the harbor.

According to the Arizona Memorial's website (Know Before You Go) that would not be allowed. While cameras, water bottles, wallets, and other small items can be brought on site, no bags (or other items that offer concealment) are allowed at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center.

Pearl Harbor is open daily from 7 am to 5 pm. The USS Arizona Memorial is open from 7:30 am to 3 pm. If you have not arranged a tour in advance, it is recommended that you arrive prior to 7 am in order to get a ticket to see the USS Arizona Memorial.

Wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, canes, umbrellas, jackets, sweaters, small wallets, medication, small cameras and camcorders, cell phones, and small sealable beverage containers are permitted and subject to inspection. Pets are not allowed under current Pearl Harbor security policies.

For civilian visitors, there is no official dress code at Pearl Harbor. When you're dressing for the day, however, keep in mind that you're in a place of honor and historical importance. Dress comfortably, but not so much that you risk offending anyone visiting Pearl Harbor.

Programs to the USS Arizona Memorial run about 45 minutes, and include: A boat ride to the memorial. Fifteen minutes at the memorial. A boat ride back to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center.

With so many sites to see at Pearl Harbor, expect lots of walking. Wear comfortable shoes and breathable clothing.

While there is no official dress code for the museums and parks of Pearl Harbor, we do require that guests are appropriately dressed while visiting. Visitors must be wearing shirts that do not show excessive skin. Bathing suits are not acceptable, nor are inappropriate t-shirts. Flip flops and sandals are permitted.

Masks are no longer required at Pearl Harbor National Memorial and Visitor Center. Beginning Saturday March 26, 2022 - the State of Hawaii is lifting the indoor mask requirements, we no longer require masks indoors at Pearl Harbor National Memorial, Visitor Center or the USS Arizona Memorial.

Fees and Passes There is no entry fee for the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, and no ticket is required to see the museums. The USS Arizona Memorial program can be accessed by reservation or through our first come first served standby line.

Due to this huge influx of visitors, Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day is the busiest day of the year for the national memorial.

BAGGAGE STORAGE: Baggage storage is provided for your convenience and the security of your personal items. It is located to the right as you enter the Pearl Harbor National Memorial. There is a fee of $7 per bag, $10 for oversized bags/luggage.
