Berlin Brandenburg Airport Since 2020, it has been the only airport in Berlin. Shortly after the reunification of Germany, it was decided that Berlin should have a central airport. Berlin Brandenburg Airport was thus to replace the existing airports in Tempelhof, Tegel and Schönefeld.
