Are they going to make an Encanto ride at Disney?

President of Disney Parks, Products and Experiences announced today, alongside Disney's Chris Beatty and Disney Animation's Jennifer Lee, that Magic Kingdom will soon welcome an Encanto-themed attraction. Disney's Encanto is Walt Disney Animation's 60th full-length animated feature film.

The brand new ride replacing it, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, is inspired by Tiana, the radiant star of the 2009 animated hit The Princess and the Frog.

Splash Mountain has permanently closed at Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida. While the structure and ride path will remain the same, the story will be changed to and rethemed to The Princess and the Frog Disney Animated movie based on New Orleans.
