Are towels complimentary at Typhoon Lagoon?

You can also rent towels at Typhoon Lagoon which can be easier than bringing any in your suitcase from home or from your hotel. There are $2 per towel for non-resort guests. Towels for guests staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel are free.

In 2026, towels are complimentary only for guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel. If you are a resort guest, you simply need to scan your MagicBand+, Key to the World card, or Disney MagicMobile pass at the towel rental stations (located near the front of the park at Singapore Sal's or High 'N Dry) to receive your towels at no charge. For non-resort guests (those staying off-property or just visiting for the day), towels are available for rent, typically priced at $2.00 to $3.00 per towel. Because of this, many "day guests" prefer to bring their own towels from home or their hotel to save on costs. It is also worth noting that life jackets are complimentary for all guests and are available on self-serve racks throughout the park. For the ultimate convenience in 2026, many frequent visitors recommend bringing a "quick-dry" microfiber towel which takes up very little space in a day bag and dries much faster than the standard cotton towels provided by the park.
