Are Ubers cheap in Cabo?

We used Uber everyday while in Cabo (it's really cheap - most of my rides were $6 or less - and my hotel was fine with Uber picking me up in front of the lobby), but I became more aware of where to order an Uber ride and to look out for anyone suspicious in the area.
