With UberX Share, riders heading in the same direction choose to share a ride. Uber finds the best route to pick up multiple riders along an UberX Share trip. This means more time driving and less time waiting for your next trip request.
UberXL and UberSUV offer the largest vehicles, and they can hold 6 passengers not counting the driver. If your party is larger, say 7, you will not be able to utilize these services, hence you may need to order two cars. As long as the number of people in your group is the same as or less than the capacity of the Uber car you are ordering, you do not need to let the Uber driver know how many people are in your group!

I would suggest an Uber XL which is for 1 to 6 passengers. These vehicles are usually SUV and Minivan type vehicles. If you were to order an Uber X the driver could show up with a car as small as a Honda Fit.
