It can be pretty intense-it was the most realistic virtual reality ride I've ever been on and the best ride period! But not only are there drops but they splash water, and air at you to make it seen real. It's sp beautiful and if your child can handle kiddie roller coasters etc.they should be fine.

A good investment, you save a couple hours for around $14. Flight of Passage really took me on a journey. I'd go back to Animal Kingdom just for this ride.
If you're prone to motion sickness, you probably want to take a pass on this attraction. If you still want to experience the ride, you may want to consider having a sick bag ready and perhaps try some Dramamine before boarding.

Hands down, we thought Avatar Flight of Passage was the best ride at Animal Kingdom — heck, it is definitely the best ride at Walt Disney World!
