Atlantis is open to the public You can walk right into the resort. Personally, I brought my boat and docked it at their free dinghy docks.

So if your main reason to visit Atlantis is to take advantage of the water park and marine life activities, then it's definitely worth a trip.

In my honest opinion, yes, the Atlantis Day Pass is absolutely worth it. I loved it! Staying on-site at the resort would be best since access to Atlantis' Water Park Aquaventure is included with your stay, but if staying at the resort isn't an option, purchasing a Day Pass is the next best thing.

Paradise Island is fairly walkable and safe to do so. You can easily walk to places like Green Parrot, Margaritaville, Marina Village, and the water ferry to downtown Nassau.
