As of early 2026, the rules for Park Hopping at Walt Disney World allow Annual Passholders and guests with Park Hopper benefits to visit a second park at any time of day during operating hours. This is a significant change from previous years when hopping was restricted until after 2:00 PM. Passholders must still make a Park Reservation for their first park of the day (on days when reservations are required) and must physically enter that first park before heading to another one. However, on "Good-to-Go" days, reservations are not required, providing even more flexibility. At Disneyland Resort in California, similar updates have retired the "11:00 AM" hopping rule, allowing "Magic Key" holders to bounce between Disneyland and California Adventure throughout the entire day. This removal of time restrictions is part of Disney's broader initiative to "remove friction" and simplify the guest experience, though hopping remains subject to the capacity limitations of the destination park.
