Can dogs go in cabins on Brittany Ferries?

Our pet-friendly cabins are available on 4 of our ships - Galicia, Salamanca, Pont-Aven and Normandie, and are designed to comfortably accommodate a single pet. If you wish to take more than one pet, please contact us. Pets are not allowed in any of the public areas of the ship.

In general, there are dedicated places on the boats for the pets to do their business. If it's not the case, it's on the outside deck. In any case, you will need to pick up his poops and if possible spill a little water on the pee.

You will need to book in for an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) appointment with an Official Veterinarian (a vet that has done the extra course required to issue pet travel documents). This appointment needs to be within 10 days of your travel date, and at least 21 days after your dog's rabies vaccination date.

They did last time.. In my experience the drinks on board Brittany Ferries were very cheap. They had a shop which sold Scotch cheaper than you could buy it in Scotland - the food was also reasonable and excellent. There is no problem drinking in your own alcohol in your cabin.
