Can I bring food into National Aquarium?

Food and beverages obtained outside the Aquarium are not allowed inside Aquarium buildings; however, there are picnic tables and benches outside the Aquarium if you choose to bring your own food. Touch-free water bottle refill stations are available for use throughout our campus.

there's a lot to see! Some people stay staring at the sharks for 30 minutes alone, some people breeze by. I'd say if you'd like a comfortable cushion of time, you'd want about 1.5-3 hours. Also, if you're coming with a group, I'd recommend making your timeline longer.

Admissions And More Information Admission includes all-day access to exhibits and daily presentations. If your schedule allows, visit on a weekday, when the aquarium is quieter. On weekends and holidays, try to time your visit before 11 a.m. or after 3 p.m. Guests may tour up to 90 minutes after the last entry time.
