Can I bring stroller on Hogwarts Express?

If you are renting a stroller – “pram” – you can leave the one you have at the station and then pick up another when you arrive at the other station. Strollers, wheelchairs, and service animals are all allowed aboard the Hogwarts Express as most people use it for transportation to and from each park.

Strollers larger than 31” (79 cm) in width and 52” (132cm) in length are not permitted. Stroller wagons are also not permitted. Strollers are not allowed on escalators. Use of strollers is permitted on elevators and ramps, available at certain locations.

Universal Studios Hollywood does not have any restrictions on the type of stroller brought into the park. This includes wagons. Universal Studios Hollywood with toddlers: we use a Babyzen Yoyo and a GB Pockit but we did see a few Wonderfold and Keenz wagons in the park.

If you're bringing your stroller when you're flying with baby, you'll need to gate check it. This seemed really complicated to me before I actually did it. But honestly, it's nothing. Depending on your airline, of course, your stroller simply needs to fold.

Children's strollers and child safety seats are not counted as part of the standard baggage and therefore can be easily checked for free. For your convenience, these items may be checked at the curbside, the ticket counter or at the gate. Child safety seats may be brought on board the plane in certain circumstances.

The other main reason we think the Hogwarts Express is worth it is that it's a convenient way to travel between the two parks and you can enjoy a different experience both ways.

The Glenfinnan Viaduct Viewpoint Trail: You can take a hike up to the Glenfinnan Viaduct viewpoint from the carpark to get up close to the bridge and get those iconic Hogwarts Express Shots!
