As of 2026, while physical ticket booths still exist at the Disneyland Resort esplanade (between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure), it is highly discouraged and often risky to wait until you arrive to buy tickets. This is because Disneyland requires both a valid ticket and a Theme Park Reservation for entry. On many days, especially weekends, holidays, and summer months, reservations sell out in advance. If the park is "at capacity" for reservations, the ticket booth will not be able to sell you a ticket for immediate entry. Additionally, buying online or through the Disneyland app is usually faster and allows you to see the "Tier" pricing, which varies by date. If you do choose to use the booth, be prepared for long lines and the possibility that you may only be able to purchase tickets for a future date when reservation slots are still available.
