Can I give my friend my Disneyland ticket?

A: Yes. If the ticket has not yet been used, you can reassign a ticket to another person on your Family & Friends list.

Whether you can give your ticket to a friend depends entirely on whether the ticket has been used or "activated" yet. If you have an unused, unexpired multi-day or single-day ticket that has not been scanned at the turnstiles, you can generally transfer it to someone else by simply giving them the physical card or the digital QR code. However, once a ticket is scanned for the first time, it becomes non-transferable. At Disneyland, they take a photo of you during your first entry; for every subsequent entry on a multi-day pass, the Cast Member will check that photo to ensure the person using the ticket is the same person who started it. In 2026, Disney's digital systems are very efficient at catching "ticket sharing." If you try to give your partially used 3-day pass to a friend for their final day, the photo won't match, and the ticket will be confiscated with no refund. If you simply bought a ticket for a friend and their name is on it, you can easily "reassign" that ticket to them within the Disneyland app as long as it has never been used to enter a park.
