For this reason, we typically recommend you plan to bring a fanny pack, so you can skip these lockers! For guests who only have fanny packs, you must move the fanny pack around your waist (so no wearing it as a sling bag), but once it's firmly around your waist, you can hop on most rides with it.
Thankfully one of the free things Universal Orlando offers is ample free water. No matter if you have a water bottle or need a cup of ice water, water is readily available. Full-service restaurants offer free glasses of water with meals when requested.
Single-Time Use Lockers at AttractionsStandard-sized lockers (14 in x 5.5 in x 16.9 in): for small loose articles are free while you ride. Larger lockers (12 in x 13 in x 16.9 in) for oversized items can be rented for an additional fee.
However, all other large items (purses, camera bags, backpacks, etc.) must go inside the ride locker. At each of these locker stations, there are two different sizes: standard and large lockers.

By bringing your own water, not only will you save time waiting in lines, but you'll also save money. While Universal Studios Hollywood isn't as lenient as the Disneyland Resort about bringing in outside food, you can bring water bottles (maximum 2 liters), baby food, small snacks, fruits and vegetables into the park.
For coasters, easiest thing to do is put it between your feet and put your foot through one of the arm straps. Make sure it is closed securely. Only places this may be a problem would be water rides (read as Splash Mountain and Kali). Easiest solution there is to ask a merchandise cast member for 2-3 big bags.
Both your safety, and that of our team members, are Universal Studios Hollywood's top priority and we've taken important steps to make things safe for everyone. Loose articles like cell phones, cameras, umbrellas and keys are prohibited at most attractions, and should be left with a non-rider or secured in a locker.
You can walk into any restaurant or service counter that serves beverages in the park and ask them to refill your water bottle. You don't even need a bottle. Just ask for a cup of ice water and they will be happy to provide you with one.
Make sure you've got strong swimmers if you plan to do the Ohno and Ohyah drop slides. These two body slides plunge into a 10-foot-deep pool! Volcano Bay does not provide any free towels, so be sure to bring your own if you do not want to rent them (it costs $7).
The Fanny Pack or Belt BagA small belt bag (like this one) is a great middle of the road option if you don't want to be using lockers all day but also need to carry a few more things. Most of the rides in both parks will allow you to wear a small fanny pack around your waist on the rides.
