Can I reserve ECV at Disney?

Requirements and Additional Services. ECVs and wheelchairs may not be reserved. Please plan to arrive early; a limited number of ECVs and wheelchairs are available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests are also invited to bring and use their own ECVs and wheelchairs throughout the Disneyland Resort.

Disney World does not offer scooter or wheelchair reservations and they often sell out. Rentals are first come, first served. Disney World Resort hotels do not rent scooters but wheelchairs are available. Wheelchairs can be rented for the length of your stay.

The ride lines are too narrow with too tight of turns to accommodate the scooters, so you are asked to park the scooter with the attraction's stroller parking and a Cast Member will assist you in moving into a wheelchair. Then you and your party will enter the standard line and wait as normal.

You can charge your scooter near a Guest Relations location and near some Walt Disney World Resort - Restrooms. Lastly, either ask a Cast Member, refer to your theme park guide paper map or the interactive map on your My Disney Experience App for what we call the Relaxation Stations.

Note that the Skyliner is entirely FREE to ride for all guests. You won't be able to access it unless you get to one of its stations, so that could cause some barriers. But you don't need to be staying at one of the hotels on the Skyliner lines to use the service.
