Uber One is designed for individual use and cannot be officially shared like a family plan with simultaneous logins on different devices.
However, there are a few important things to know:
Uber’s Terms of Service state that your account is personal and non-transferable. Sharing your login credentials violates these terms and could result in your account being suspended or terminated.
Many people practically share their Uber One benefits with a partner or family member by: Using the same login on multiple phones. The person using the phone with the Uber One account logged in will get the benefits (discounts, priority support, etc.) on their rides and orders. The major limitation: Only one person can be logged into the account at a time. If someone logs in on a second device, it will often log out the first device.
Uber has been testing and rolling out an official “Uber One Family” plan in select markets (like the US, UK, and others). This is the proper way to share benefits: The primary account holder can invite up to 4 additional household members. Each member uses their own Uber account and payment method. Everyone gets the full Uber One benefits on their individual accounts. You should check your Uber app (under “Uber One” in the account menu) to see if “Add Family” or “Uber One Family” is available in your city. If it is
