All cabins come equipped with a hair dryer, and baby bottle warmers are available throughout the ship. Hair straighteners and curlers are, however, accepted.

While MSC strictly prohibits items like electric kettles, coffee makers, and clothes irons due to fire safety risks, "personal grooming devices" such as hair straighteners and hair dryers are allowed. All MSC cabins come equipped with a standard hairdryer, but you are welcome to bring your own high-heat styling tools. For safety, you must ensure that your device is in good working order and is unplugged whenever it is not in use. If a room steward notices a straightener left plugged in while you are out of the cabin, they may confiscate it for the duration of the cruise to prevent a fire hazard. It is also wise to bring a universal adapter, as MSC ships use a mix of European (220V) and American (110V) outlets, and your specific styling tool may require a particular voltage or plug type to function correctly.
