Can I take my double stroller to Disneyland?

I'm happy to report that double strollers are indeed allowed as long as they fit into the size requirements stated in the park rules. Currently, the requirements are that strollers be no larger than 31” in width and 52” in length. Stroller wagons are not allowed at this time.

I checked with a Cast Member, and was told that the single, jogging-style rental strollers have a recommended capacity of 50 pounds or less. In addition, the double, tandem-style strollers have a recommended capacity of 100 pounds or less.

If your child is under 4, the answer is easy. Yes, you definitely need a stroller. If your child is in that magical age range between 5-9 years old, it's a more difficult decision.

If you're not sure where the nearest one is, ask the Cast Member at the entrance of the attraction and they'll be more than happy to assist you.

More often than not, double strollers can be gate-checked. Use a stroller bag to protect your double strollers. Since most strollers are gate-checked, best to place them inside a stroller bag to protect it and keep it clean for when your child uses it. Also, you will want to make sure that you got your stroller tagged.

Length of Stay Rental Pre-pay the number of days that you will require a stroller and save. Purchase a Length of Stay rental ticket for less per day when rented for multiple days. Then, upon visiting a theme park, simply show your receipt at the rental location to receive your stroller for the day.
