Can I take my own water bottle to Dollywood?

Refillable Water Bottle You can refill your own water bottle without waiting in line at a food location. The water refill stations can usually be found near any bathroom around the park. You may also opt to purchase Dollywood's Unlimited Refillable Mug for free fountain drink refills that day or for the entire season.

Yes, you are permitted to bring your own water bottle into Dollywood in 2026, and it is highly encouraged as a way to stay hydrated in the Tennessee heat. The park allows unopened, factory-sealed plastic water bottles as well as empty reusable bottles (such as HydroFlasks or Yetis) that you can fill at various water fountains or "hydration stations" located throughout the park. However, Dollywood does not permit outside food or other beverages (like sodas or energy drinks) to be brought in, with exceptions made for specific dietary needs or baby formula. If you choose not to carry a bottle, any food location that serves fountain drinks will provide you with a complimentary cup of ice water upon request. For those who want more variety, Dollywood offers "All-Season Souvenir Refill Mugs" for purchase, which provide free fountain refills throughout the year. Bringing your own bottle remains the most "frugal" and eco-friendly "pro" move, especially when navigating the hilly terrain of the Great Smoky Mountains setting.
