Can I take the Skyliner to Magic Kingdom?

Important note: You can't get to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, or Disney Springs from the Disney Skyliner. If those are your destinations, you'll need to use another mode of Disney transportation.

No, the Disney Skyliner gondola system does not provide direct service to Magic Kingdom Park. The Skyliner is designed to connect two specific theme parks—EPCOT (via the International Gateway entrance) and Disney's Hollywood Studios—with four resort hotels: Disney’s Art of Animation, Disney’s Pop Century, Disney’s Caribbean Beach, and Disney’s Riviera Resort. If you are staying at one of these resorts and wish to go to Magic Kingdom, your primary complimentary transportation option is the Disney bus service. The Skyliner’s central hub is located at the Caribbean Beach Resort, where all lines converge. While you can take the Skyliner to EPCOT and then take the Monorail to Magic Kingdom, this is highly inefficient as it requires walking through EPCOT (which requires a park ticket and a long walk) or taking a bus from the EPCOT front entrance. For guests specifically wanting a unique "non-bus" way to reach Magic Kingdom, the Monorail or the various watercraft/ferry options are the intended modes of transport. The Skyliner remains a fantastic way to travel between the southern parts of the Disney property but does not cross far enough north to reach the Magic Kingdom area.
