Can I use 18+ Oyster card?

The 18+ Student Oyster photocard can be used to purchase discounted weekly and monthly season tickets. It cannot be used for discounted pay as you go journeys. There is an application fee and the 30% discount can only be applied to travelcards or season tickets.

Very young children do not need their own Oyster cards if travelling with a fare-paying adult. You can ask station staff to open the wide luggage gate for children to go through. Alternatively, some gates can be opened automatically with a ticket or Oyster card.
