Yes, you can use your 60+ London Oyster photocard on the Elizabeth line.
The 60+ Oyster card provides free travel on:
All of Transport for London’s (TfL) services, including the entire Elizabeth line.
London buses, the Tube, the DLR, London Overground, TfL Rail, and most National Rail services within London.
Important things to remember:
- It’s for off-peak travel only: Your free travel is valid from 9:00 AM on weekdays and all day on weekends and public holidays. If you travel before 9:00 AM on a weekday, you will need to pay a fare (which will be deducted from any pay-as-you-go credit on your card).
- Touch in and touch out: You must always touch your 60+ Oyster card on the yellow card reader at the start and end of your journey on the Elizabeth line, even though the fare is £0.00. This validates your journey and ensures you are not charged a maximum fare.
- Within the London fare zones: Your free travel is valid within the London fare zones, including on the Elizabeth line to stations like Reading. However, the free travel benefit ends at the London boundary.
- When travelling to Reading, which is outside the London fare zones, you will need to pay for the portion of the journey from the London boundary to Reading.
