Can I use Suica card in Yokohama?

To answer your question: yes you can use your IC card to travel to Western Tokyo and Yokohama. Thanks for your responses, everyone! Didn't realize SUICA and PASMO are now more widely accepted in the greater Tokyo area. Last time I was in Japan in 2012, I recall SUICA and PASMO were only accepted within Tokyo.
