As of early 2026, you can use the United Club after landing only if you meet specific criteria. Generally, standard United Club members and those with a one-time pass must have a boarding pass for a flight departing on the same day to enter. However, if you are arriving on a long-haul international flight in United Polaris business class, you typically have access to the lounge (or the Polaris Lounge) upon arrival to freshen up. For domestic travelers, "arrival access" is generally not a standard perk unless you are an elite Global Services member or if the lounge is located before security in certain international terminals. If you have a domestic connection after your flight, your onward boarding pass grants you entry. Otherwise, once you exit the secure "airside" area to collect your bags, you cannot re-enter the terminal to use the lounge without a new departing flight for that day.
