Can I walk from All-Star Music to All-Star movies?
If you'd like to walk between Disney's All-Star Movies Resort and Disney's All-Star Music Resort, you'll find that there's a 1-mile-long, paved jogging trail that connects all 3 Resort hotels.

On the right side of the resort, you'll find the adorable 101 Dalmatians-themed area and the Mighty Ducks section for the sports fan. Preferred rooms in Toy Story, 101 Dalmatians and Fantasia are the closest to the pool and Cinema Hall.
Note that the Skyliner is entirely FREE to ride for all guests. You won't be able to access it unless you get to one of its stations, so that could cause some barriers. But you don't need to be staying at one of the hotels on the Skyliner lines to use the service.
Currently, buildings 1 & $ (101 Dalmations), 5 & 8 (Fantasia) and 9 & 10 (Toy Story) are in the preferred category. All other rooms are the same no matter what view or location you have. Your room may overlook the parking lot, or the courtyard, or the pool area.
