Can I walk from terminal 1 to Terminal 4 at JFK?

It is not practical to walk between terminals at JFK. The AirTrain circles through all of the terminals so you get on the airport terminal loop train and get off at your desired terminal. There is no Terminal 3 or 6 so don't worry about not seeing them.
