Can I wear a Disney shirt to Disneyland?

For Guests Ages 14 and Older Themed T-shirts, blouses, sweatshirts and hats are acceptable. Acceptable accessories include: transparent wings, plastic Lightsabers, toy swords and tutus. Headwear may be worn as long as it does not cover the face. Masks of any kind may not be worn, except for medical purposes.

As you stated, the Costume Guidelines say that full helmets are not allowed. Headwear may be worn as long as it does not cover the face and the eyes are visible. I asked a Cast Member about simply bringing the helmet into the event without donning it, as an accessory to your costume.

Checked Bags: Yes Sadly, the technology doesn't currently exist to create a real lightsaber. However, you can pack a toy lightsaber in your carry-on or checked bag.

In your case, a long skirt, that is not part of a costume and does not actually reach or drag on the ground should be fine. You may want to keep the skirt no longer than shin length, otherwise you may find it difficult to enter and exit the various cars and boats used on the attractions.

A: Guests are allowed to bring outside food and nonalcoholic beverages into the parks for self-consumption, provided they are not in glass containers, do not require heating, reheating, processing or refrigeration and do not have pungent odors. So, what can't you wear? Not permitted are robes or military-style attire, masks, face paint, elaborate headwear, blasters or holsters (lightsabers are allowed) or hard items such as body armor, helmets or kneepads. This means you need to leave your Stormtrooper suit at home.
