Shirt, shoes, and shorts/pants must be worn in SeaWorld at all times (swim attire permitted at Aquatica). Guest are not permitted to wear clothing that has inappropriate language or which is otherwise offensive.
Pack towels and sunscreen for the kiddos. Wear good walking shoes but pack a pair of flip-flops to wear on the water rides. Pack a plastic bag to keep your belongings in on wet rides. Plan your day with the park map you're given to see all you can.
While shoes must be worn, there is no specific footwear requirement for attractions within Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, although skates or shoes with wheels are prohibited. I have seen Guests wearing everything from basic flip-flops to stilettos. (Though I do not recommend either of those options!)
1/2 day is doable, but its a park that has lots to explore. You can get most of the highlights in 1/2 day. If you're thinking about spending the latter half of a day at a theme park, look into what tickets they sell to convention-goers.
You can purchase a refillable souvenir cup at any of SeaWorld's restaurants, and at most of the drink carts. Buying a basic cup will run you $7.99, while fancier cups can cost up to $16.95. Some of the souvenir shops also offer SeaWorld cups and sports bottles.
Arrive Early.To get the best seat for the Sea World Orlando shows, plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the show begins to get a seat in the theatre, on busy days 45 minutes. The most crowded shows are mid-day, so visit early or late for smaller crowds.
