Can strollers go on monorail?

You can absolutely take a stroller on the monorail. If the monorail is especially crowded that day, you may be asked to fold it up to make room for more Guests.

Yes, strollers are fully permitted on the Disney Monorail systems, and unlike the Disney buses, you typically do not have to fold them before boarding. You can simply roll your stroller—child and all—directly into the monorail car. This makes the monorail one of the most convenient forms of transportation for parents with sleeping toddlers or heavily loaded gear. In 2026, the only time you might be asked to fold a stroller is during extreme peak capacity periods, such as immediately following a fireworks show, when a Cast Member may ask you to collapse it to make room for more standing passengers. It is important to ensure your stroller fits within the standard size requirements (no larger than 31" wide and 52" long) and that you remain with it at all times. If you have a double stroller, it is best to enter through the wider doors designated for wheelchairs and ECVs. This "roll-on" accessibility is a major reason why many families choose to stay at "Monorail Loop" resorts like the Contemporary, Polynesian, or Grand Floridian to simplify their daily travel to and from the Magic Kingdom.
