Can you actually visit the Hogwarts Castle?

The fictional school of Hogwarts is located in the highlands of Scotland. However, in reality there is no “Hogwarts Castle” which one can visit. What you see in the film is a combination of visual effects work, purpose-built sets (constructed in a film studio) and one or two real locations.

Possibly the most exciting part of the experience was being able to see the Hogwarts castle model (Alnwick Castle was also used). It fills a large room with viewing platforms all the way around it. What is this? The studio is located just outside London and has plenty of car parking.
