Can you bring prescriptions to Disney?

Generally any medication that is clearly marked as prescribed with a guest's name is permitted so long as it is not in a glass container. Medication that is considered to be a controlled substance may require document prescriptions and could be subject to screening.

Firearms, ammunition, knives and weapons of any kind are prohibited. Smoking marijuana or other illegal substances is not permitted at any time. For the comfort of all Guests, the theme parks, the Esplanade between the parks and the Downtown Disney District are smoke free.

You are always welcome to bring any prescription or over-the-counter medicines you regularly take into the parks, but I advise leaving them in their original labeled bottles so it is easier for security Cast Members to search your items when you arrive.

Non-alcoholic drinks and waters are totally something you can bring into Disney, it's even encouraged! It is so nice to have a drink on hand whenever you need to quench your thirst. You can bring refillable water bottles and refill them at water stations throughout the parks.

Medications in pill or other solid form must undergo security screening. It is recommended that medication be clearly labeled to facilitate the screening process. Check with state laws regarding prescription medication labels.

Nurses are available during normal park operating hours to offer over-the-counter medications, bandages and other quick remedies so that you can begin enjoying your vacation again.

Can I bring medicine in a Ziploc on a plane? Medication in liquid form is allowed in carry-on bags in excess of 3.4 ounces in reasonable quantities for the flight. It is not necessary to place medically required liquids in a zip-top bag.
