Can you buy Disneyland tickets at gate?

You can purchase tickets at the Main Entrance Ticket Booth located in the Esplanade between the two park entrances. While buying in person is possible, I highly recommend that you purchase your tickets ahead of time to avoid the worry of being able to get same-day reservations.

Yes, you can still buy tickets at the Disneyland Resort ticket booths located in the Main Entrance Esplanade, but it is highly discouraged in 2026. While the ticket booths open about an hour before the parks, buying at the gate does not guarantee entry. This is because every guest must have both a valid ticket and a theme park reservation. If the reservations are sold out for the day (which is common for weekends and holidays), your gate-purchased ticket will be useless for immediate entry. Additionally, you will likely face long lines at the booth, wasting valuable park time. By purchasing online in advance, you can secure your reservation and often access multi-day discounts through official partners that are not available at the gate. If you do choose to buy at the booth, they accept cash, all major credit/debit cards, and Disney Gift Cards as standard forms of payment.
