Can you buy Genie for just one day?

You can purchase Genie+ day by day on each day of your trip using the My Disney Experience app. Genie+ is available for purchase when the clock strikes midnight on the day of your visit, but you don't need to stay up late (instead, just wake up about 15 minutes early to secure it before the 7 a.m. selection process).

As of late 2024 and through 2026, the service formerly known as "Genie+" has been rebranded as Lightning Lane Multi Pass, and yes, you can absolutely purchase it for just a single day. Unlike a multi-day ticket, this digital service is sold on a day-to-day basis, and the price varies depending on the date and expected crowd levels. You can purchase it through the "My Disney Experience" app (at Walt Disney World) or the "Disneyland" app. One major change in 2026 is the ability to pre-plan; guests staying at Disney resorts can purchase and book their first three Lightning Lane selections up to seven days in advance, while other guests can do so three days in advance. This allows you to secure "skips" for your most-wanted rides for a single specific day of your vacation without committing to the service for the entire duration of your stay.
