Can you do Magic Kingdom without Genie Plus?

Here is my one-day itinerary for Magic Kingdom that doesn't involve paying for Genie+ but is still packed with fun and eats. Magic Kingdom always opens up at 8:30 am for Early Entry and 9:00 am for all other guests. So if you are okay with 14 hour park days, I recommend getting there early.

The most efficient way to ride it is to purchase an Individual Lightning Lane. However, I was testing touring without this option so I was going to need to wait in line for it at some point during the day. A popular option for riding is to rope drop the attraction during Early Entry to try to minimize wait times.

As a general matter, Animal Kingdom is the park that requires the least strategy and is the easiest place to beat the crowds in all of Walt Disney World. It doesn't require Genie+ or Individual Lightning Lanes, and is pretty easy to knock out everything–and then some–if you stay for a full day.

The Genie 120-minute rule says that you can make a new reservation at most 2 hours from when you made the last one, and this countdown timer doesn't change if you modify the reservation.
