Can you eat at a Disney restaurant after the park closes?

Some popular Walt Disney World restaurants will allow dining reservations to be booked as late as at Park closing (or even after on rare occasions). Not only does this mean that you can maximize your time in the Park, but when you finish dining and leave, you can leisurely stroll out of a near-empty Park.

When dining at a restaurant located in a theme park, you will need valid theme park admission to enjoy your meal. Unfortunately, there isn't an option for a dining ticket or ticket that only grants you entry to the theme park for part of the day.

Whether you have a regular theme park ticket or an Annual Pass, if you miss a Disney Park reservation at Disney World, you won't be penalized in any way.

The Genie 120-minute rule says that you can make a new reservation at most 2 hours from when you made the last one, and this countdown timer doesn't change if you modify the reservation. If you made it at, say, 11 a.m., then your two hours will be up at 1 p.m. even if you modify the reservation at noon.

Your princess is in luck though, the attire policies at the Disneyland Resort allow guests under the age of 14 to wear costumes in the park! Sadly, wearing a costume doesn't cover park admission.

A: Guests are allowed to bring outside food and nonalcoholic beverages into the parks for self-consumption, provided they are not in glass containers, do not require heating, reheating, processing or refrigeration and do not have pungent odors.
