Can you visit Atlantis, The Palm if you're not staying there? While we wholly recommend staying at this bucket list worthy resort you can visit even if you don't have a room booked. The waterpark, aquarium and range of restaurants are all open to visitors, just ensure you book tickets or a table beforehand.

Atlantis the Palm can be visited for free but you will only be able to visit the shopping gallery. If you want to visit the Lost Chambers and/or Aquaventure Waterpark you will have to pay. Check for their prices on the page about Lost Chambers and the page about Aquaventure Waterpark.
Yes you can, although why anyone would want to incur the expense of a taxi out there just to take photos of an hotel lobby always puzzles me. You could go for lunch I guess.

You're required to wear proper swimwear like swim shorts, bikinis, swimsuits, burkinis or rashguards while in the water. You cannot carry any mobile phones, laptops, notepads, selfie sticks, or similar gadgets on Aquaventure rides.
The Atlantis Day Pass is an excellent way for non-guests staying at another resort to experience the wonders of Aquaventure. With this option, visitors can access all Aquaventure offers: refreshing pools, exhilarating thrill slides, lazy rivers, and miles of white sandy beaches.
Without a Day Pass, you'll likely not be able to get past security to see much of the resort. They were very strict about wristbands and room keys (which are dated with your checkout date). The only places you are able to access are the Casino, Marina Village, and the lobby areas.
