If you're a thrill seeker, consider Hosgmeade. If you'd prefer to walk, eat and shop, head to Diagon Alley. In the end, both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade are worth a visit — and with a ticket that allows you to hop between parks, a quick ride on the Hogwarts Express can ensure you experience both Harry Potter lands.

Everyone says go to diagon alley (studios side) first and get the whole “getting ready for hogwarts” experience. Gringotts gets extremely busy, so doing that early will save you a lot of time for the rest of your day.

Plus, the park is considerably more than some other waterparks like SeaWorld's Aquatica. Having shelled out that money ourselves and spending the day at the park, we are happy to say that yes, Volcano Bay is worth the money.

If you do end up visiting during peak seasons or on holidays (when the parks are open late), consider waiting until late afternoon and staying until closing time -- after the dinner hour the parks are generally much less crowded.

You can also opt to visit Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure one day with a park-to-park ticket and spend your second day splashing at Volcano Bay. If you want to maximize your two-day visit, we recommend: Getting the Universal Express or Universal Express Unlimited Pass for skipping the general queues.
